What a difference 3 years makes.
This conversation happened shortly after my wife and I met. She is merely three years older than me:
- Wife
- …and I remember thinking, “What? Oingo Boingo’s Danny Elfman wrote the music for Batman?”
- Me
- Wha? Batman’s Danny Elfman was in the group that did “Weird Science”?
Last year we started watching Forbidden Zone, in which “Danny Elfman of the Mystic Knights of the Oingo Boingo” appears as some incarnation of Satan. We didn’t even get that far into the movie, though, as we both felt it was kind of unwatchable. Now we have something in common where we used to differ.
