Quick test for ADHD

Here’s a real easy, if expensive, way to find out if a loved one has Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder: follow them on a plane trip. If they make a phone call within ten seconds of the flight crew announcement that “cell phones may now be used…,” that’s when you take them in to get a professional medical opinion.

Some of you might think this is unfair, but I’m serious about the 10 second rule. Most mobile phones take at least that long to “boot up,” and if someone is able to start a conversation within 10 seconds of the announcement, that means they turned on the phone before the announcement was made, which is a sure sign of an inhibition problem.

Or, I suppose they never turned off the phone in the first place, which means they’re just [REDACTED].
