Is your advertiser more important than your users?
ForecastFox, the handy, free Firefox (also free) extension that informs me of current and future weather in my area (and any other areas I specify) notified me of a severe weather alert near my home. I clicked, and saw the following:
To be fair, this occurred only because I had the text size in the browser increased, and things started to overlap. But you know, AccuWeather, that can be avoided.
Sometimes it’s very important for people, yes, even people who need text to be larger, to be able to read weather alerts without advertisements getting in the way.
