How Not to Podcast: Addendum 1
I have run across an instance where it might be necessary to talk about podcasting during your show, so I need to amend one of my rules to read:- Talking about podcasting — Unless your show is about podcasting, I don’t want to hear you talking about it. [Extra content edited for time.] Please, just keep on topic.
- Exceptions include: If you do a show about a particular group of people, say, a rock band, and the band decides to start an official podcast, you might be forced to acknowledge its existence on your own show and make changes accordingly. You should try to keep all of the discussion about the show on the show's web site, of course, but it might be an unavoidable topic in the course of the show.
