Desperate Housepersons
So, there’s that show “Desperate Housewives,” right? I’m assuming that if you’re keeping up with the show, you will have seen the last episode already:
Bree’s husband died. It wasn’t entirely her fault.
Details aside, it pushes the show’s major complication over the halfway mark. There are five major characters; I’m counting Edie again, because it turns out she’s the only person who hasn’t done something despicable to a neighbor or family member. Of the five major characters, three are not married (not wives), one is on schedule to go back to work (not a housewife) and the fifth’s husband is in jail (making her, I guess, a “big house”-wife).
I’m fairly certain they’re going to have to change the name of the show. Suggestions are welcome in this posts’s comments, I will forward them to ABC.
